Welcome to Micah's Egg Hunt!
This egg-stravaganza was established in 2023, to honor the memory of Micah Veglia Pedersen, who tragically passed away from SIDS on Easter Morning of 2022. In collaboration with the Haven Rose Foundation, Micah's parents have repurposed grief into a joyous celebration, creating an egg-mazing, impactful, and FREE event for the community.

Wristbands will be distributed at the registration table, and are mandatory to join in on all the fun.
Event Highlights:
- Egg Hunts: Dive into the egg-citement with three egg hunts for all ages.
- Micah's Egg Shoppe: Trade in your collected eggs for fabulous prizes.
- Micah's Golden Eggs: A special tribute to honor and remember other children lost, spreading love and support.
- Entertainment: Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, egg painting, cotton candy, food trucks, vendors, and more.
- Silent Auction and Raffle: Participate in fundraising activities to support the Haven Rose Foundation's important cause.
About Haven Rose Foundation:
The Haven Rose Foundation is dedicated to providing resources and support to bereaved families, just like Micah’s, coping with child loss from conception through age 17 with: Care Baskets, Funeral Vouchers up to $500, Hope Mentors, support groups, and outreach events throughout each year. Your participation in Micah's Egg Hunt directly contributes to these loss families in this vital mission.
Previous Success and Goals for 2024:
Last year's event welcomed around 1000 attendees and successfully raised $4,200.
This year we are excited to announce a new location at Wait Park in Canby, Oregon, with expanded activities and extended hours.
Our ambitious goal for Micah's Egg Hunt 2024 is to raise $20,000 for the Haven Rose Foundation. Your generosity and support will make a meaningful impact on the lives of bereaved families.
